The subject... dishwater! Do you like to keep your dishwater clean? Or do you place dirty dishes, utensils, etc. in the dishwater as you are cleaning up the kitchen, etc.?
First thing in the morning I empty the dishwasher and it is filled throughout the day. I do rinse all the dishes before loading them. My routine is I start it before I go to bed and unload it before the kids get up.
I absolutely keep my dishwater clean! No dirty dish rinsing in my soapy water! NEVER!
